New appointments at TSUM Kyiv
Yevhen Mamai has been appointed CEO of TSUM Kyiv. Former CEO Brian Handley decided to return to the UK due to personal circumstances.
Yevhen Mamai has a long and successful experience in senior positions in luxury and premium retail, as well as expertise in developing and implementing e-commerce. As TSUM CEO he will continue to develop the department store format that is unique to Ukraine.
His key objectives are to develop in-house procurement competence, cement partnerships with suppliers, and launch new initiatives as part of TSUM project development.
“TSUM is a one-of-a-kind project and a one-of-a-kind customer experience. Also, it’s a tourist destination in Kyiv and a place where you want to come back again. TSUM is about traditions. Our goal is to create comfort, take care of our guests and give them positive emotions daily,” said Yevhen Mamai.
The arrival of the new CEO is not the only appointment. TSUM continues to strengthen the senior management team: over the past six months it has engaged an operations director and reinforced its financial function.
