12.07.2017
Tryfanivka Energy, a division of DTEK Renewables, and Ukrgazbank have signed a €7.1m 7-year credit facility agreement to finance the construction of Tryfanivka solar power plant in Velyka Oleksandrivka District, Kherson Oblast.
The 10MW plant will be completed in 2017 and generate 11-12 million KWh a year. After the launch, the facility will cover more than a third of electricity needs in Velyka Oleksandrivka District, Kherson Oblast. Tryfanivka solar power plant is DTEK Renewables' pilot solar power project, with the outcomes to lie at the core of a corporate strategy in this area.
"An increase in the renewables share is a part of Ukraine's energy strategy. The involvement of government-owned banks in green projects proves that the development of renewables is vital for the country," stated Viktoria Syromiatova, Director of DTEK's renewables business.
